Old friends They are playing all the really old Christmas cartoons on TV lately. The older ones were always my favorite. Though I have to say the movie Elf is pretty damn funny. On the way to Calgary on Thursday I met a girl (woman?) I had gone to high school with on the plane. She sat next to us and we talked about as much as it is possible at 7am when you have both been up since 5am. Today a guy I went to high school with called and said that him and another guy I went to high school with want to meet up over Christmas. It seems really odd that all of a sudden all these people I haven't talked with or seen in years and years are popping up. It's also kind of cool. I found out from him that a friend of all of ours from high school died recently as well. I hadn't really talked to her, but I had spoken with her mom a few months ago when I heard she was sick. When someone dies you always feel bad that you didn't talk to them more than you did. I definitely feel that way in this case because I meant to get in touch with her after I heard she was ill. I know it's nice to have friends around to help you out when you are feeling crap. Speaking of finding things out, I gave the friend who called me today this address. *waves nervously*
